The Benefits of Donating
City Story is a registered NPO (Non-Profit Organisation) that relies on donations from individuals and companies to better serve the people of Durban.
City Story is also registered with the South African Revenue Service as a Public Benefit Organisation (PBO) in terms of Section 18A of the Income Tax Act.
We can therefore issue donors with a Section 18A receipt, which enables tax deductions to be claimed from SARS.
Upon request, City Story will issue a Section 18A receipt for any donations that exceed R1,000. To request your Section 18A receipt, please email proof of your donation payment to admin@citystory.durban
